INDUSTRIAL VISIT AT KAKRAPAR ATOMIC POWER STATION
Members of ASME student section of B.H. Gardi college of Engg. & Tech. visited the atomic power station at Kakrapar on 26th October,2012. in that visit 29 students and one faculty Prof. Nirav Doshi were present. Students had spent three and half hours in the plant and they had learnt about electricity generation from nuclear sources, various safety aspets, plant automation, source of nuclear fuels and nuclear disposal, etc. During the visit students asked questions about technical details of the plant and appropriate response was given by their plant engineer.
